There is a popular term being used nowadays between our society called "Bhed Chaal". It can be translated into ENGLISH as running with the crowd. Sometimes we hear this term in our elders' criticisms over their children when they opt for the courses likewise with their friends. Sometimes we use it in our gossips about how every political party is trying to copy one another in their Jalsaas. Sometimes we are a part of it in race of following fashion. It can't be said that being a part of Bhed Chaal is either a good thing or wrong as these are the viewpoints of people. But what i am pretty sure about it is that we are part of it, but are scared to admit it openly.
Once there was a boy, a die hard fan of Cricket. He always tried to not to miss any ODI Cricket Match on TV in which his national team participated. Even when a kid, he used to stay lost in his dreams of becoming a spin bowler and a bombastic batsman in future or we can say an all rounder . God knows if he had any talent in him to support his dream, but somewhere in his heart he knew he could become a good cricketer. However the only thing he lacked, which he should have had on the first priority, was STRONG COMMITMENT to chase his ambition. Later in his teens when a sports festival was about to take place in his school and he had a chance to prove himself, he ignored his favourite sport and took part in football instead, only because a few best of his friends in school were playing football as well. Now God knows if he would prove out to be a successful footballer, or just quit the football in future. Same can be said about cricket that nobody knows if he would turn out to be a good cricketer or not in his life, if he had opted for it on that very sports fest. However, what i am damn sure about is that he made the "could be life changing decision" on bad grounds, and should have followed his dream instead of following a bunch of friends.
Now there was a boy named Nasir, who had two doctors as his parents and an elder sister studying medical. He had lived through such kind of atmosphere at his home throughout his life, that he had never been offered to choose any career other than being a doctor. Although, being a human being he had a power known as free will, but he was not allowed to use it. It was like something imposed on him by his parents. Now again, who does know better than the God that whether he would become a good doctor or not. But the misery is this, that he was never asked for what he wanted to do, or can say never was allowed to think of something other than the imposed one. May be he could become a good engineer, or an accountant, or a designer, or a filmmaker, or a businessperson. Anyhow, Nasir successfully managed to become a victim of today's topic.
Now we are gonna talk about Haseeb. An adult who somehow manages to check out his FB wall on daily basis. In past few days, he has observed on FB that two of his friends are involved in writing about some random stuff on their respective blogs regularly. He is quite unaware of both his friends' objectives behind these pieces of writing. He doesn't even know that if they have to struggle to get time to write for their blogs or if they have all the time in the world. All he knows is that this is some new kinda shit, and his friends do that, so he's gonna do that as well. Ignoring the writing skills, unaware of the consequences, without thinking about the wastage of leisure time, and ignoring the damned signs, he just foolishly decided to run with the crowd.
The point to be made is this, that keeping in mind that we cannot be ever assure of what's gonna happen to us in our future, or will it be better or worse; we should take the road less traveled. But if we are so scared of doing so, what at least we can do is lift the veil of false reasons up and admit that we have insecurities to use our free will.
